
Shinsen (Fresh) has meaning at The Uchi Lounge, with its "No MSG" and “No Artificial Flavouring” policy, select organic foods, and seasonal tastes leaving an indelible impression on the palate.
Some of the signature dishes available at Uchi Lounge include Isobe-fried Chicken Pieces with Sesame Mustard Mayonnaise and the equally popular Crispy-fried Squid with Shichimi Pepper. The Uchi Lounge has a lovely selection of fresh sashimi, such as our Kingfish with Shallot infused Olive Oil & Umeboshi dressing or Fresh Oysters with Umeshu Vinaigrette.

Renowned Chef and Owner Takashi Ohuchi has brought his distinct fusion of old and new, with dishes such as Grilled Eggplant Miso sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese, or the sumptuous Saikyo Grilled Rudder Cod with Orange Miso –Top’n Roll Sushi... not to mention our range of equally delicious vegetarian dishes. The Uchi Lounge has Sydney's first and finest Shochu & Sake Bar, offering a wide selection of premium Japanese Shochu, Japanese and Australian Sakes, plus our own ginger, chilli, lychee and many other naturally infused flavoured sakes.
We also offer a wide selection of original sake cocktails. For something more familiar, we also have a variety of Japanese beers including Sapporo on tap and Yebisu Black, and a wide selection of Australian and international red, white and organic wines . We’ll have your thirst quenched for sure.
